Co-Director Aaron Underwood
A long time figure in the regional music scene, Aaron Underwood brings decades of experience to the Muse Meridian Inc team. Hosting open mics in Wichita, KS for the last 10 years has given Aaron a great network and connection to people that can further the MMI cause. Aaron Underwood currently tours in 2 bands and manages Slow Coast Recording Studio. He co-hosts a podcast and is adopting a son with his husband Justin. Muse Meridian Inc has long been a goal for Aaron, and helping the community and the entertainers in it has always been at the forefront of his efforts.
co-Director Geoff Kelley
Geoff Kelley developed a passion for music at an early age by learning guitar, and having his first public performance at 14. Geoff’s passion has remained strong, and now extends into a desire to share and teach others. Geoff remains in a band, and his talents have expanded to writing, recording and publishing, building and modifying tube guitar amplifiers, and orchestral composition. Geoff brings his knowledge, experience, and passion to the Muse Meridian Inc team and community.
mmi's history
Muse was a dream realized by a group of friends who saw deficiencies in the local art and entertainment scene. With years of experience, vivid imagination, and healthy ambition a plan was formed. Aaron and Geoff then created Muse Meridian Inc to serve the art and music community and to improve the existing framework to allow growth. On July 11, 2022 Muse Meridian Inc became a nonprofit by receiving its 501C3 status.

Muse Meridian Inc has a mission to provide an alternative framework to marginalized populations by offering unique arts and entertainment-based development and programming.
mmi's programs
Muse Meridian Inc has three programs running right now. The first one is our All Ages Open Mic that we host every Monday night from 6-9:00, at The Hyde Out, 452 N Hydraulic Ave, Wichita, KS 67214.
The second one is our 50/50 program.
Then we have our instrument program.
